These Terms & Conditions govern the use of State 48 Limo’s website, transportation services, communications, and reservations. By using our website, requesting a quote, booking service, or communicating with our team, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below. Our Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy also apply to your use of our services.

Section One

Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, requesting service, or booking transportation with State 48 Limo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Services Provided

State 48 Limo provides private chauffeured transportation services, including but not limited to:

  • Airport transfers
  • Point-to-point transportation
  • Hourly charters
  • Corporate transportation
  • Special event transportation
  • Transportation arranged through affiliate partners when needed

3. Reservations & Accuracy of Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate reservation details, including:

  • Pickup date and time
  • Pickup and drop-off addresses
  • Passenger count
  • Luggage count and oversized items
  • Flight details when applicable
  • Any special instructions relevant to the trip

State 48 Limo is not responsible for service issues caused by incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated information submitted by the customer.

4. Pricing & Payment

All rates are subject to availability and may vary based on vehicle type, service type, trip timing, passenger count, luggage requirements, distance, stops, wait time, or special event demand.

  • Quoted pricing may be time-limited and subject to change until confirmed
  • Final charges may differ if trip details change after booking
  • Additional charges may apply for extra stops, extended wait time, overtime, damages, cleaning, tolls, parking, or other service-related costs
  • A valid payment method may be required to confirm service
A quote requested without full disclosure of passenger count, luggage volume, or oversized equipment may affect pricing and vehicle availability.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation policies may vary by vehicle type and service type.

  • Sedans and SUVs may require at least 12 hours’ notice for cancellation
  • Sprinters, charters, buses, sporting events, concerts, weddings, and other special event reservations may require 48 to 72 hours’ notice or more
  • Certain special event reservations may be non-refundable
  • Trips fulfilled by affiliate providers may be subject to the affiliate’s cancellation terms

Full details, including no-show terms, late change handling, and refund processing, are set out in our Cancellation Policy. Any applicable refund will be issued in accordance with the specific booking terms in effect at the time of reservation.

6. Wait Time & Delays

Included wait time may vary by service type and location.

  • Domestic airport arrivals may include up to 30 minutes of wait time from the recorded arrival or gate time
  • International airport arrivals may include up to 60 minutes of wait time from the recorded arrival or gate time
  • Non-airport pickups may include up to 15 minutes of wait time

Additional wait time beyond the included grace period may be billed at the applicable rate.

Customers should notify State 48 Limo as soon as possible regarding major delays, cancellations, or rebooked flights.

7. Airport Transfers

For airport pickups, customers are responsible for keeping reservation details accurate and monitoring communications from State 48 Limo.

  • Drivers may provide curbside or meet-and-greet service depending on the reservation type
  • Pickup instructions may vary by airport terminal, security procedures, and operating conditions
  • State 48 Limo may monitor flights, but customers remain responsible for notifying us of major itinerary changes

8. Passenger Conduct

For the safety and comfort of all passengers and chauffeurs, customers and their guests must behave respectfully while using our services.

  • No smoking, vaping, or illegal substance use in any vehicle
  • No disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behavior
  • Passengers must comply with applicable seat belt and safety requirements

Drivers may terminate service without refund if passenger conduct creates a safety risk or violates these terms.

9. Child Safety Seats

Parents, guardians, or booking parties are responsible for ensuring that any legally required child restraint or booster seat is used.

If child seats are requested through State 48 Limo, they must typically be arranged in advance and may be subject to availability and additional fees.

10. Vehicle Damage & Cleaning

The booking party is financially responsible for any damage caused by a passenger, including but not limited to:

  • Interior or exterior damage
  • Excessive mess
  • Spills
  • Burn damage
  • Cleaning or sanitizing costs beyond standard service

Additional cleaning, repair, downtime, or administrative fees may apply.

11. Service Limitations

State 48 Limo reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or modify service due to circumstances including but not limited to:

  • Unsafe weather or road conditions
  • Vehicle issues or mechanical failure
  • Incorrect reservation details
  • Passenger safety concerns
  • Events beyond our reasonable control

In the event of a vehicle issue, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a substitute vehicle or otherwise address the interruption, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

12. Affiliate Providers

Some reservations may be fulfilled by affiliate transportation providers. When this occurs:

  • Trip details may be shared as necessary to complete the service
  • Affiliate-specific operating policies may apply
  • State 48 Limo may rely on affiliate availability, fleet, and operating procedures

We work to use professional, vetted partners, but affiliate trips may still be subject to conditions outside our direct control.

13. Lost Items

State 48 Limo is not responsible for personal items left in a vehicle.

If an item is found, we may attempt to return it, but return arrangements may be subject to driver availability, location, and applicable delivery or handling fees.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, State 48 Limo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Traffic delays
  • Weather conditions
  • Security delays
  • Flight changes or cancellations
  • Acts of third parties
  • Events outside our reasonable control

Our liability, if any, shall generally be limited to the amount paid for the affected reservation, except where otherwise required by law.

15. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

16. Changes to These Terms

3. Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency may vary based on your reservations and communications with our team.

Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply.

4. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to a message from us.

After opting out, you may no longer receive trip-related text notifications unless you re-enroll or provide further consent.
