State 48 Limo's hourly charter service puts a professional chauffeur and a luxury vehicle at your disposal — for as long as you need, going wherever you want to go. Wine country. Red rock country. The Grand Canyon. A full day of meetings. A night out in Scottsdale. If you can imagine the trip, we can drive it.
Point-to-point works for getting from A to B. Hourly charter is for everything else — multiple stops, flexible timing, a driver who waits while you enjoy your destination, and the freedom to change plans without worrying about booking another ride.
Your chauffeur is with you for the duration. Spend two hours at a winery, linger over lunch in Sedona, or take an extra 30 minutes at a venue. No surge pricing, no waiting for a new driver, no logistics stress.
Wine tours. Shopping runs. Multi-venue nights out. Corporate site visits. Hourly charter lets you build a real itinerary with as many stops as you want — your vehicle moves when you're ready, not on a schedule someone else set.
Wine tours, brewery crawls, distillery visits, and Scottsdale nights out are all significantly more enjoyable when nobody has to be the designated driver. Your hourly charter means everyone enjoys the experience fully.
When the vehicle is yours for the day, you travel in a clean, comfortable, climate-controlled environment between every stop. No parking, no navigation, no tradeoffs — just the experience you planned.
Whether it's a bachelorette party, a corporate team, or a family group, everyone rides together in one vehicle. No caravanning, no splitting up, no someone getting lost on the way to the next stop.
State Farm Stadium, Talking Stick Amphitheatre, and Phoenix Raceway all require hourly charter due to unpredictable exit timing and post-event congestion. Your driver is staged and waiting no matter how long it takes to get out.
Hourly charters are customized — which means the booking process is a conversation, not a form. Here's how it works.
Most hourly charters and custom tours are best planned over the phone so we can build the right itinerary for your group. Call (480) 489-8975 during office hours (7 AM – 10 PM daily) and we'll walk through your destination, group size, duration, and vehicle options. Complex or multi-stop tours should always be planned this way rather than through the online booking widget.
Once we know your destination, group size, and timing, we assign the right vehicle — SUV for small groups, Executive Sprinter for parties up to 13, or motor coach for larger groups — and build your run-of-day so your chauffeur is briefed on every stop before pickup.
We pick up from your home, hotel, or office in the Phoenix Metro area. For statewide destinations, pickup can be arranged from anywhere in the Valley.
Your driver stays with you for the entire charter. Leave when you're ready, stop where you want, and return home at whatever time works for your group. The hourly clock runs from pickup to return drop-off.
Arizona has three federally recognized American Viticultural Areas (AVAs), each producing wines with distinct character shaped by elevation, soil, and climate. State 48 Limo provides private hourly charter transportation from the Phoenix Metro to all three — your group, your pace, your experience. Contact our office to build a custom wine tour itinerary.
The Verde Valley — centered around Cottonwood, Jerome, and Sedona — is Arizona's most accessible wine country day trip from Phoenix. Old Town Cottonwood has multiple tasting rooms within walking distance of each other, and the historic mining town of Jerome perched on Cleopatra Hill adds a compelling stop before or after tasting. Sedona is just to the northeast, making it easy to combine wine and red rock scenery in a single day.
Arizona's original wine region, at 4,500–5,000 feet of elevation in Santa Cruz County. The grassland terrain and dramatic day-to-night temperature swings produce elegant, mineral-driven wines — Grenache, Syrah, Tempranillo, and Cabernet Franc. Around 20 vineyards operate in the region, many in boutique tasting rooms that reward unhurried visits. Private hourly charter means your group can linger at each estate without watching the clock.
Willcox has become Arizona's most productive wine-growing area by volume, with high-desert climate and volcanic soils producing grapes that thrive in the region's four-season weather. 14+ world-class tasting rooms make it the right destination for groups who want to cover serious ground across a full day. Best paired with an overnight stay or combined with a swing through the Sonoita region on the return.
For wine tours, we typically recommend the Executive Sprinter (up to 13 passengers) — comfortable, spacious, and the right vehicle for a relaxed full-day tour through wine country. SUVs work well for couples and small groups of 4–5. Motor coaches are available for larger group wine events.
Arizona's best destinations are all within a half-day's drive from Phoenix. With an hourly charter, your group travels in comfort, arrives together, and has a professional driver waiting whenever you're ready to move on.
One of the most visually dramatic destinations in the American Southwest — red sandstone buttes, Cathedral Rock, Chapel of the Holy Cross, world-class spas, farm-to-table dining, art galleries, and legendary vortex hikes. The drive through Oak Creek Canyon on AZ-89A is itself one of Arizona's best scenic roads. An ideal full-day charter destination for couples, family groups, corporate retreats, and bachelorette parties.
One of the world's great natural wonders — and the most common multi-day charter request we receive. The South Rim offers multiple viewpoints, the Rim Trail, Yavapai Point, and Desert View Drive. Best as a full-day charter with an early Phoenix pickup. Combine with a Sedona stop on the return via I-17 for a truly spectacular Arizona day.
Arizona's original territorial capital at 5,400 feet — Whiskey Row, Watson Lake's striking granite boulder landscape, Courthouse Plaza, the Sharlot Hall Museum, and a charming historic downtown that offers a completely different pace from the Valley. Popular for group day trips, golf excursions, and as a cooler summer escape from Phoenix heat.
America's first UNESCO City of Gastronomy — and the gateway to Sonoita wine country and Saguaro National Park. The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Sabino Canyon, Saguaro National Park East and West, and Tucson's celebrated restaurant scene make it an underrated day-trip destination from Phoenix. Easily combined with a Sonoita wine tour on the return.
These destinations are all popular hourly charter requests — from half-day excursions to full-day adventures. Every trip is custom-built around your group and your itinerary.
Dramatic desert scenery rising from the East Valley — Lost Dutchman State Park, the Superstition Wilderness, and the kid-friendly Goldfield Ghost Town with mine tours and gold panning.
A former copper boomtown perched on Cleopatra Hill — galleries, wine tasting rooms, the Jerome State Historic Park, and sweeping Verde Valley views. Often combined with Cottonwood wine country.
Arizona's mountain city at 7,000 feet — Lowell Observatory, the San Francisco Peaks, Route 66, Walnut Canyon, and a vibrant downtown. 30 degrees cooler than Phoenix in summer.
Page, AZ — two of the most photographed landmarks in North America. Antelope Canyon's light-shaft sandstone corridors and Horseshoe Bend's 270-degree Colorado River overlook. Book Navajo tour guides well in advance.
Florence, AZ — the site of Country Thunder Arizona and other major statewide festivals. Hourly charter from the Phoenix Metro area with your group for the full day. We return you home when you're ready.
One of the best-preserved cliff dwellings in North America, plus the Verde River greenway, tuzigoot National Monument, and the Verde Canyon Railroad. A half-day or full-day itinerary depending on your interests.
Arizona's most spectacular living cave system — guided tours through the Big Room and Throne Room with stunning stalactite and stalagmite formations. Reservations required well in advance; we coordinate around your tour slot.
Arizona's most famous Wild West town — the OK Corral, Boot Hill, and re-enacted gunfights in Tombstone. Just 25 minutes further, Bisbee's historic mining district and converted Victorian buildings make a vivid contrast.
Arizona's alpine escape — 9,000+ feet of elevation, Sunrise Ski Resort, Show Low, graded forest roads, and a climate 30°F cooler than Phoenix in summer. The Hon-Dah Casino and Native American cultural events add additional stops.
Wine tours, day trips, multi-stop excursions, and any destination outside the standard booking flow are best handled with a direct call to our office. We'll build the right itinerary, confirm vehicle availability, and make sure your day is planned properly from the start.
